30 Days

First Day of Pre-K

Today our little sweet pea went off to Pre-K

Daddy took the boy to school and the girls and I ate some breakfast (oatmeal was the breakfast of choice for the big day) and got ready for school.

She was a little clingy in the beginning, but it didn't take her long to get comfortable.

Play structures, play doh, a sandbox, dress up clothes and puzzles...this girl was in heaven!

No tears or tantrums. Just all smiles. She's getting to be such a big girl.

First Day of First Grade

The boy started school today...all day school * sniff, sniff *

He was so excited for school. He woke up super early, got dressed all by himself and had a special breakfast waiting for him...doughnuts!

We got the girls loaded up in the stroller and walked (while he scooted) over to school

He hung up his bag, found his desk and got straight to work (drawing a picture of what he did this summer)

I gave him a hug and kiss goodbye and he said, with a roll of his eyes, "MOOOOM!" Apparently, you're too old for public affection from your mom when you're in first grade. Sheesh!

He's getting so big, I can hardly stand it!
